The Senior EC&I design engineer will be responsible for supporting the principal EC&I engineer in delivering one or more design projects or leading small EC&I project tasks with the support of other engineers. These designs will cover the full project life cycle from concept design through to manufacture and commissioning. As a EC&I Engineer at Orano Limited, you will be involved in a variety of specialist tasks. This could include: Delivering design project deliverables. These designs will cover the full project life cycle from concept design through to manufacture and commissioning. Poducing the required EC&I design documents and drawings to the standards, procedures and requirements set out by the project under supervision. The Project Engineer will: Prepare the procurement specifications, functional requirement documents, integration, test, and qualification plans for spent nuclear fuel storage, transfer, and transport systems, and all manner of equipment needed to handle, manipulate, and operate those systems. Oversee fabrication of these varied products by subcontractors by review of fabrication documents (material testing reports, drawings, routers, special process procedures, inspection and test procedures, etc.) to ensure contractual and design requirements are met. Prepare fabrication documents to support fabrication activities at Orano TN facilities. Support design efforts for new products to enhance fabricability and operability.
