Responsibilities include:

What you’ll accomplish:
This position is responsible for the following:
· With the support of others, act as Orano Canada’s lead authority regarding instrumentation and controls
· Develop and implement effective electrical and instrumentation design standards
· Select appropriate instruments for measurement and control, and prepare required specifications and data sheets
· Develop engineering deliverables such as, control system architecture and block diagrams, communication network drawings, PLC and DCS panel drawings, instrument loop diagrams, junction box wiring diagrams, instrument indices, and I/O lists
· Prepare and support construction and engineering scopes of work, and equipment packages, including supporting procurement with clarification responses and technical bid evaluations
· Ensure electrical and instrumentation designs meet technical specifications, adherence to industry and internal standards, and required regulatory and QA/QC requirements are met
· Check the design work of others and provide technical feedback
· Provide electrical and instrumentation technical support to other Orano Canada departments as required
· Collaborate with other disciplines, experts and Orano groups to conduct trade-off studies and make recommendations on the preferred option with regard to feasibility, operating and capital costs
