Job description
Orano USA is seeking a motivated intern to support our market research activities in the radioisotope and stable isotope industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in nuclear industry market analysis and international trade regulations.
Key Learning Opportunities & Responsibilities:
- Assist in researching US and international radioisotope/stable isotope markets
- Help map key industry players and production capabilities
- Support analysis of US space industry isotope requirements
- Learn about nuclear material transportation regulations and logistics
- Research packaging solutions for radioactive materials
- Contribute to market demand forecasting
- Gain exposure to international nuclear trade requirements

Ideal qualifications
All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Nuclear Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or related field
- Strong academic background with relevant coursework
- Basic understanding of radioisotopes and nuclear materials
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Proficiency in English; French language skills are a plus
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
Desired Skills:
- Interest in nuclear industry and space applications
- Basic knowledge of nuclear regulations
- Ability to analyze and synthesize complex data
- Strong attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
